Just a quick note to say that the session delivered to the FdSc Paramedics by Pat Alexander of Herts Handling Training has received excellent feedback. She taught them from 0930-1645 and students were impressed with the opportunity to practice all techniques. They also commented on her enthusiasm for the subject. Thought I would just pass on this feedback and thank you for organising it.

Every time I have used Herts Handling they have exceeded my expectations. All the trainers are of an extremely high standard and from the train the trainer courses they have run for us they have produced high quality trainers who are competent to do their job. We have also used Herts Handling consultancy service and found their advice to be invaluable in keeping us within the parameters of both the law and good practice. We recommend Herrts Handling to other care organisations.

Track A: Beginner Level - Dangers Associated with Selecting Incorrect Patient Slings
Was not sure if I would learn material I did not already know, but I did. Very informative. Would be a good article on the "how-to's" of sling assessment. Excellent views and realization of risks - great presentation. Cordless pin on microphone, so to better understand. Nice presentation. Very informative. Very good presentation by Pat. Could have been longer. A lot of useful information and very informative.

Pat has the most genuinely pleasant persona you could ever come across. In a world where everyone is trying to prove themselves over their competitors, she is a breath of fresh air. Always helpful, even as a competitor, she views the concept of safe patient handling more important than business objectives. I have learned a lot from her approach.
